History and Company literature

John Gordon (MD of Peerless Cars Ltd) and Jim Keeble (Engineer and racing driver) had worked together on a suggestion from Rick Neilson (USAF pilot based in Norfolk) that they should fit an American V8 engine (Buick 3.5litre) into a Peerless car to give it the extra performance.

Jim Keeble preferred to start afresh thereby improving on the original design of the Peerless/Warwick.
